Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:

• Lead the monthly general ledger close and financial reporting using Navision.

• Maintain general ledger/audit reconciliation schedules in collaboration with the FSSC GL team, utilizing Excel and Blackline.

• Prepare journal entries and assist in generating monthly IFRS financial statement packages for head office.

• Handle statutory reporting and filings, including Intrastat and Conai reports.

• Support internal and external audits, intercompany reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.

Fixed Assets Management:

• Collaborate with operational and FSSC fixed asset teams to maintain the fixed assets register and related processes.

Accounts Payable:

• Monitor accounts payable statuses, including accruals and prepayments.

• Ensure compliance with company expense policies in coordination with HR and local teams.

• Process invoices, resolve discrepancies, and enter data into Navision.

Accounts Receivable:

• Partner with the FSSC AR team and customers to reduce overdue accounts receivable aging.

SAP S4 Hana Implementation:

• Contribute to the design, adoption, and implementation of SAP S4 Hana.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in general accounting roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with SAP is preferred but not required.

• Strong organizational skills, independence, and ability to manage time effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience in multinational and/or manufacturing companies is preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in English and Italian.
