As an Assistant Field Service Engineer at ASM, you’ll have the opportunities to get involved in a wider scope of work compared to our larger competitors. While the workload is challenging, you are given the independence and autonomy to perform at your peak. This work requires thinking “outside of the box” in an innovative manner, so you must have the ability to collaborate with others to deliver creative solutions, work well under pressure and pay great attention to small details.

Before applying to this job, do note that frequent travel between Kaohsiung & Tainan office up to 25%~50% is required for this role.

General Discipline Targets

  1. Responsible FSE work packs regularly clean-up.
  2. Complete timesheet reporting in time.
  3. Manage training courses with no overdue cases.
  4. Adhere to safety regulations to ensure no PIP/6S violations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain PM activity data and share it with internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Submit PRs, confirm final pricing, and ensure timely PO processing to avoid delays in project starts or shipments.
  3. Ensure timely PM activity completion, including parts usage and time tracking.
  4. Update checklists regularly.
  5. Collect and report clean data, addressing IQC anomalies and following up as needed.
  6. Manage on-hold kits with Service, and Sales teams for disposition.
  7. Handle process constraints, control spare parts, and manage work-order compensation and reporting.
  8. Confirm spare parts availability and escalate shortages or project requests to the planner. Proactively report timeline impacts for line shortages.
  9. Address customer PM requirements, coordinate with external vendors during peak demands to prioritize Fab needs in providing forecasts also replenish parts routinely post-PM usage.
  10. Review external vendor stock reports, correct inaccuracies, and actively report status issues or abnormal stock quantities.

  1. Ensure task completion and execution.
  2. Actively report progress and drive continuous improvement.
