Responsibilities:
• Successfully work and give input as part of a multi disciplinary project team, responsible for driving the electrical/control aspects of the project.
• Responsible for the decisions on sensors, PLC’s, control devices and other electrical components.
• Design electrical drawings and specifications to meet ASM quality and innovative standards.
• Provide clear and articulate clarification regarding the logic and decision making process used when presenting or discussing in technical meetings.
• Create electrical documentation during the design phase and ensure it meets ASM standards.
• Participate in taskforce on technical escalations that are not solved by lower lines of support; recognize trends and make improvements to prevent future issues.
Collaborate and work with cross functional teams, including mechanical, soft ware and process engineer team to ensure the control system meet both functional and safety standard requirement.
Maintain existing PLC/control system program, as well as design new product based on design requirement.

Education & Experience
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or PhD. Experienced candidates and college graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical ability; able to visualize, conceptualize, and solve problems.
• Ability to lead conceptual, innovative design; from starting phase.
• Independent thinking, able to act as a sparring partner, and a team player.
• Experience with PLC program, and working with other engineers via revision control soft ware such as Git
• Basic understanding of power and analog circuit such as DC-DC converter, amplifier, recti fi er, ADC/DACs
