Job's mission: Drive functional excellence in ERP systems

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Functional Lead to provide leadership in Navision modules and support the transition to SAP in the next 1–2 years. In this role, you will lead functional enhancements, manage application designs, and optimize business processes. You’ll collaborate with IT Business Partners and stakeholders to implement robust, maintainable IT solutions that align with ASM’s global objectives.

This is a hands-on role that blends functional expertise, strategic thinking, and operational execution to enhance ASM’s ERP systems and drive business success.

What you will be working on:

Functional leadership

• Provide leadership in Navision modules, including reviewing design, development, and testing for enhancements.
• Share technical and business knowledge with the internal team, ensuring adherence to ASM processes.
• Recommend solutions to improve business processes, procedures, and structures.

ERP support and change management

• Manage service requests, incidents, and problem management for assigned areas.
• Oversee change requests, provide resourcing estimates, and improve system designs in collaboration with IT Business Partners.
• Authorize Navision changes to production and ensure thorough testing, including UAT and regression tests.

Project leadership

• Serve as a project manager or IT lead for ERP-related projects.
• Configure systems, gather business requirements, and create functional and technical designs.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and release systems into production.

Stakeholder communication

• Keep IT Business Partners and process owners informed of progress on enhancements and new requests.
• Build relationships with 3rd-party support providers, managing contracts and service delivery.

What we are looking for:

• Strong functional knowledge in Procurement, Storage, and Production, with integration into Sales and Finance.
• Desire to transition into SAP support within 1–2 years, with knowledge/experience in SAP being an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in solution implementation, including 3 end-to-end project cycles in a functional lead role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Italian and English.
• Demonstrable project management experience with the ability to structure and deliver complex projects.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with a strategic vision for end-state solutions.
